An inspiring tale of resilience comes from a couple who refused to give up, going through six IVF cycles until they finally achieved success.
HN commenced her IVF journey back in 2016, persisting until 2020 with four cycles at two different centres. Despite facing setbacks, she maintained a positive outlook and decided to pursue treatment at Metro IVF for her fifth cycle. Given her low egg reserve, HN promptly agreed to proceed with IVF treatment.
During her fifth cycle, she produced four embryos by Day 3. The medical team strongly advised against further culture to Day 5 due to concerns about embryo survival, so HN consented to proceed with the embryo transfer on Day 3.
Unfortunately, the fresh embryo transfer yielded no success. Undeterred, three months later, HN returned for a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET), marking her sixth cycle. Utilising her frozen Day 3 embryos, she underwent the procedure.
Two weeks later, her urine pregnancy test (UPT) and beta-hCG test came back positive! HN finally achieved pregnancy on her sixth cycle. She navigated through her pregnancy smoothly and welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world.
Congratulations to HN and her incredibly supportive husband, a true pillar of strength!
