Azoospermia is a condition in which the semen volume is normal, but upon examination, no sperm is visible in the ejaculate.

Mrs. H and her husband have been married for 6 years. They did an initial screening at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. A biopsy of the testes was done, which showed the presence of sperm in the testes even though they were not found in the semen.

The couple decided to visit Metro IVF Melaka after seeing the high percentage of successful cases for azoospermia patients and proceeded with IVF treatment, coupled with another testes biopsy to obtain a usable sperm sample. After their first Frozen Embryo Transfer, their bHCG results showed a successful IVF!
