Dr. Gayitiri Ramasamy is a medical practitioner with extensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, women’s health, fertility, and reproductive medicine.She obtained her MBBS from KLE’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka, India, in 2012, and began her medical career at KLE’s Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital, Belgaum.
She subsequently continued her medical career in Malaysia, gaining experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a Senior Registrar and trainee with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), UK, serving at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang, and Hospital Umum Sarawak, Kuching. She later joined Hospital Wanita Metro, Klang, where she currently practises as a Senior Registrar. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia, and is an active member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM).
Her clinical expertise includes antenatal and obstetric care, normal vaginal deliveries, Caesarean sections, transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasonography, fertility assessment and counselling, ovarian induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), IVF-related fertility care, hysterosalpingography (HSG), general gynaecological management and surgical procedures, and the diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Dr. Gayitiri is also a regular speaker at antenatal classes and health awareness programmes, where she shares her clinical knowledge and promotes greater awareness of women’s and reproductive health. She has a special interest and training in aesthetic gynaecological procedures, including laser vaginal tightening and rejuvenation.
