As a women’s health advocate, she imparts knowledge to her patients so they understand better and are well-aware about their conditions before embarking on a treatment plan. She is also a fitness enthusiast, which has led her to integrate this into the management of reproductive medicine as Malaysia has the highest prevalence of obesity among adults in Southeast Asia. That being said, half of Malaysians are either overweight or obese, and from this half, women are more than men.
Obesity brings about many problems such as social, psychological, demographic, and health problems and is linked to various malignancies. Obesity also plays a significant role in reproductive disorders including infertility, particularly in women. Therefore, she manages patients as a whole, providing solutions for weight loss and in terms of improving their general health, quality of life as well as managing their obstetrics, gynaecological or reproductive issues. She treats each patient holistically with utmost compassion.
