Dr. Vidhya Bharathi

Dr. Vidhya Bharathi A/P Subramaniam is a highly skilled and dedicated specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with an impressive academic track. She earned her Master of Medicine (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2020, showcasing her commitment to advancing her expertise in the field. Prior to her specialisation, Dr. Vidhya completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at AIMST University in 2011.

Dr. Vidhya’s professional journey began as a House Officer at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru in April 2010. This early experience laid the foundation for her comprehensive understanding of various medical disciplines.

Dr. Vidhya currently practises at Metro IVF, where her focus extends across a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological care. Her expertise encompasses antenatal checkups, obstetric ultrasound scans in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters, as well as the meticulous management of intrapartum care. Proficient in various delivery methods, she specialises in vaginal, instrumental, and caesarean delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child. In addition to her obstetric responsibilities, Dr. Vidhya is dedicated to providing thorough gynaecological services, showcasing her surgical skills and commitment to comprehensive women’s healthcare.

Dr. Vidhya is part of several esteemed medical organisations, including the Gynaecological Endoscopic Society of Malaysia (GESM), the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG), and the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM).

Passion is what drives her as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, allowing her to empower other women and spread awareness of the importance of women’s health at all ages. Dr. Vidhya takes pride in offering well-rounded, patient-centred, personalised treatment plans, incorporating quality evidence-based care that encapsulates pre-conception counselling, antenatal and postnatal care.
