Dr. Ahmad Zharif Bin Hussein

Dr. Ahmad Zharif Bin Hussein is the resident Fertility Specialist at Metro IVF Johor Bahru.

He completed his medical degree from the Russian State Medical University, Moscow in 2009 before starting his training at Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah, Muar. He practised at Hospital Segamat, where he started to develop an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology. 

Dr. Zharif completed his specialty training in Hospital Sultan Ismail Johor Bahru and Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia Kubang Kerian before being gazetted as a General O&G (specialist) in 2018. 

He has been running the infertility clinic at Hospital Sultan Ismail Johor Bahru and has over 10 years of experience in the management of infertility for both female and male patients in Johor and is also a referral point for all district hospitals in the area. 

A keen educator, Dr. Zharif regularly gives lectures and seminars through Medicorp and is also a part-time lecturer for Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia and Asian Metropolitan University in Johor. 

As a lifetime member of OGSM, Dr. Zharif has multiple publications in his specialty including his most recent e-publication, “Obstetric & Gynecology Crash Note.”
