Dr. Chooi Kar Yoke Amber

Dr. Chooi Kar Yoke completed her medical training at University Science Malaysia (USM) with clinical attachment in Glasgow, United Kingdom and Singapore. Upon graduation, Dr. Chooi joined Hospital Kuala Lumpur and subsequently Hospital Ipoh. Her selfless dedication to Health Services earned her an Excellent Service Award from the Ministry of Health. Dr. Chooi then pursued and completed her Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Universiti Malaya. She actively participated in clinical research and was involved in journal publications and presentations at international conferences.

She later pursued her passion in clinical fertility at the Reproductive Unit HKL. She is well-versed in managing and competent in Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), and Testicular Sperm Retrieval procedures. Dr. Chooi was awarded the Certificate of Assisted Reproductive Technology National University Hospital, Singapore and is a member of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE).

Dr. Chooi is a compassionate, learned obstetrician and gynaecologist, as well as a fertility specialist. She joined the Metro IVF team in 2018 to provide IVF services to the community in Puchong and Klang Valley. She has a vast amount of experience in managing infertility cases and has helped many childless couples to have babies.
