Dr. Salini Suhaila Nasir

Dr. Salini Suhaila graduated from University Putra Malaysia with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2001. During her service with the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (MOH), she gained extensive working experience as Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrar in various public hospitals such as Hospital Kota Bharu, Hospital Putrajaya, Hospital Selayang, Hospital Sungai Buloh and Pusat Perubatan UKM. Her solid foundation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology propelled her to pursue a Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at University Kebangsaan Malaysia before undergoing specialisation training at Sungai Buloh Hospital, Selangor. Upon her successful training, she was gazetted and credentialed as a clinical specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by MOH. After the gazettement, she served as a Clinical Specialist and lectured in the Faculty of Medicine, UiTM Sungai Buloh from 2013 to 2017.

During her years at UiTM, Dr. Salini has cultivated a tremendous passion for Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Reproductive Technology thanks to her exposure to numerous fertility cases. Her commitment and deep interest in fertility have driven her to be at the forefront of IVF treatment. She spearheaded the Fertility Unit in the Faculty of Medicine, UiTM Sungai Buloh from 2015 to 2017 and developed the Unit into a renowned referral centre for fertility cases referred from Sungai Buloh, Selayang, Kuala Selangor, Tanjung Karang and as far as Slim River, Perak. Her success in fertility services has culminated in the launch of the IVF shared care programme between UiTM Private Specialist Centre and Metro IVF in 2016. The partnership between the two healthcare institutions has since enabled many more couples to achieve their dreams of having a child of their own.

Dr. Salini joined Metro IVF as a resident Fertility Specialist starting October 1st, 2017.
