Dr. Deepashni Thulasiraman

Dr. Deepashni’s professional odyssey commenced with her graduation with a Medical Degree from Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine, where she laid the foundation for a career devoted to women’s health. However, her commitment to continuous learning did not cease there. In 2023, she achieved a significant milestone by completing all Part 1, 2, and Part 3 of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, underscoring her dedication to mastery in her domain.

Her journey into obstetrics and gynaecology was not happenstance but rather a calling discovered during her tenure as a Medical Officer at Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia – Klinik Kesihatan Bayan Baru, Pulau Pinang. It was during these formative years, spanning from 2011 to 2015, that she unearthed her profound interest in women’s health. This newfound passion propelled her towards a nine-year tenure as an OBGYN Registrar at Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia – Hospital Selayang, Selangor, from 2015 to 2024. Dr. Deepashni’s expertise extends across various facets of obstetrics and gynaecology, honed through years of dedicated service and rigorous training. From clinics to wards and operating theatres, she has navigated diverse settings with finesse, ensuring the highest standards of care for her patients. Her proficiency spans a wide array of procedures, including fertility counseling, screening, and management, alongside the execution of vaginal deliveries, caesarean sections, as well as hysteroscopy, colposcopy, laparoscopy, and laparotomy surgeries among others.

Beyond her professional acumen lies Dr. Deepashni’s most defining trait – her exceptional care and genuine concern for her patients. Approachable and empathetic, she possesses a rare ability to forge meaningful connections, instilling confidence and comfort in those under her care.

Currently, as a resident doctor at Hospital Wanita Metro Kuala Selangor and Metro IVF, Dr. Deepashni continues her noble endeavor of empowering women through exceptional care. In the hands of Dr. Deepashni, patients find not only a skilled practitioner but also a steadfast ally in their journey towards health and wellness.
